17 juveniles travelled to Wicklow Golf club last Monday for the Jim Murphy Memorial Trophy which had nearly 200 playing, well done to Emma Byrne (31) who had 45pts and was runner up in the competition.

At a recent meeting it was decided that there would be alternative Club colours introduced.
The Ladies will have an option of Pink jumper and White Polo shirt
The Men will have the option of Sky Blue jumper and White Polo shirt
its also very important to note that the official club colours are Navy Jumper and Yellow polo and these must be worn at all times when representing Baltinglass Golf Club.

The Captains' Michael Browne and Mary Deegan, team co-ordinater, President Matt O'Brien and Team Managers would like to thank all who played, for taking the time and effort in representing the club and travelling to different courses during the year. Unfortunately we didn't have much success but we hope that everyone enjoyed their golf!
Congratulations to our Lady Vice Captain Olivia Cooney and her husband Colm on winning the husband and wife competition in Athy last Saturday (29th August) with 42pts.

We had over 320 golfers playing last weekend in our club Classic. Many thanks to all who participated and sponsored tee boxes. It was a credit to Head Green keeper Martin Donegan and his staff, who had the course in excellent condition considering the recent inclement weather. Also full compliments must go to Ashton Catering who as usual provided an excellent service.
